WayOut Club last week held there LAST event at 2AD.  The next event will happen on August 25th at Abbey 33 Minories EC3N 1DD, and Vickie has a bunch of new announcements to tickle your fancies!

The 25th will be a Tribute to Steffan Whitfield, the co-founder of The WayOut Club and entertainer extraordinaire

A little about Steffan

They will be showing this video at the club on Saturday followed by songs and routines that Steffan loved to do, performed by the new generation of drag entertainers, including:

G.L.A.M Kitty and Mis Fit are doing Diamonds and Hot Stuff.

Minnie and Sarah Lloyd are doing Mary Poppins and Burt,

Kitty and Titch are choreographing a Maddona medley

Geri Love is doing a medley of Copacabana and Tits and Arse

Kitty is doing Champagne taste

Silver & Geri Love lead Dusty O’s Trannyshack – Tranny Academy in a live Spice Girls medley

Then they will all perform ‘We are Family’ lead by Vanilla Lush singing the verses

On this night there will be a collection for (Cancer Charity) ‘Myeloma UK’ and a minimum £1 is requested (but optional).

To date they have collected £5245.89 on these benefit nights for the charity nominated by Steffan’s mum Bonnie;

"I have been promising BIG NEWS …We have yet another venue to try out for seven weeks in between the dates that Abbey have been able to give us this year. 

I will be most interested to see how we like this venue as it (like Abbey) has been offered as our long term home in the new year.
