In my recent post The Transgender Debate Over Wanting Vs. Needing, the discussion arose from an article I had read by Andrea Long Chu, were she says "My Vagina won't make me happy. But I want it." Should wanting be enough to get it? Read it here.
Is the reflection I see in the mirror who I am, or just the taxi that carries "me" around? As a TG journalist for a host of magazines I have explored this and many other ideas along the detour that has become my life.
